NEW! – SAM3 Option to drill into existing swards

£60.00

When attempting to establish the legumes and herbs in an existing sward
we recommend the existing sward is grazed tightly, and may be even
sprayed with a reduced rate of glyphosate to check its growth. The seed
mixture is direct drilled using a disc drill and rolled afterwards. Graze lightly
with sheep a couple of weeks post drilling to prevent seedlings being
shaded by existing grasses. No fertiliser should be applied. Ideally the sward
can be cut or grazed within 8 to 10 weeks when the herbs and legumes have
established.
